South Carolina Adopt-a-Stream volunteers monitor water quality in their local waterways in partnership with their local communities, educators and government agencies with the goal of protecting and restoring waterways.

MyCoast: South Carolina

MyCoast: South Carolina is an iniative by SCDHEC to visualize coastal hazards such as king tides, storms, marine debris and abandoned boats through submitted photos. Submissions are used to enhance awareness of these issues among state decision-makers and stakeholders.

Motus Wildlife Tracking

Motus Wildlife Tracking Systems are used in the ACE Basin NERR and across the world to track the migration of small flying animals. The towers use radio telemetry as a relatively inexpensive way to study over 22,000 species.
