Summary Tables
In the final phase of GAP analysis, individual products created in the previous steps were integrated and analyzed together to produce the information on the distribution and management status of the biological diversities. Percentages and areas of each land cover type and species habitat were calculated for different land stewardship and management categories. The results were summarized in two tables which are listed below. Those tables are in Microsoft Excel format.
Land Cover Analysis summary table
This table provides the area in square kilometers of distribution of each mapped land cover type by management status and land steward, and the percent of each type's total distribution in each category. The cover type is identified by its unique code. More information on land cover and stewardship is available from online help.
Habitat Analysis summary table
This table provides the area in square kilometers of mapped species habitat by management status and land steward, and the percent of each habitat's total distribution in each category. The table lists all the species by their unique ITIS code. More information about the species is presented in online help.
