What is the Clean Vessel Act?

Marinas wishing to participate in the CVA reimbursement program are to submit the following forms every year to the CVA team at SCDNR regardless of previous participation in the CVA program:

• CVA Letter of Intent and Proposal
• PreAward Subrecipient Risk Assessment
• SAM.Gov UEI Check

Deadlines

2026-2027 Grant Timelines

Submit a request for reimbursement after the end of each quarter to grantsubmissions@dnr.sc.gov.

The following documents are required for your request for reimbursement:

• Subrecipient Request For Funds
• Invoice Report
• Example
• Ensure your address on the invoice report matches your SC Vendor address and name registration. You can search for your vendor registration.
• Operation and Maintenance Log
• Pumpout Usage Log
• Supporting documentation for all requested reimbursement items: paid invoices, payroll information and hourly rates.

• July 1st 2026 - Beginning of fiscal year 2027.
• July 1st-September 30th 2026 - 1st Quarter
• October 1st-December 31st 2026 - 2nd Quarter
• January 1st- March 31st 2027 – 3rd Quarter
• April 1st- June 30th 2027- 4th Quarter
• June 30th 2027 - End of fiscal year 2027.
• July 15th 2027 - Final Request for reimbursement accepted for fiscal year 2027.
