DNR Procurement Services Location
The Department of Natural Resources Procurement Services Section is located at 1000 Assembly St., Columbia, S.C. 29202 in the Rembert Dennis Building which is part of the Capital Complex Center. Procurement Services may be reached at (803) 734-3884 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday except for official holidays.
Mission Statement
The purpose of the procurement program is:
- To provide to the taxpayers of the State of South Carolina and to the employees of the Department of Natural Resources the most receptive personnel to maintain a uniformly high level of specialized knowledge and skill in the field of procurement administration.
- To provide increased economy in the state procurement activities and to maximize to the fullest extent practicable the purchasing values of funds while ensuring that the procurements are advantageous to the State.
- To ensure the fair and equitable treatment of all persons who deal with the Procurement system, which will promote increased public confidence in the procedures and processes in public procurement.
