July

45; Walhalla, July 16, 1903, and Jocassee 8 WNW, July 2, 2008

In July 1903, stations recorded their lowest temperature around the middle of the month, with many locations in the Upstate (outside of the mountains) reporting lows in the mid-50s.

In July 2008, a strong cold front provided a cool spell during the month’s first few days, creating many new record lows in South Carolina.
