Mating Loggerheads in Broad River ~ Beaufort, SC
Mating loggerheads were seen in the Broad River in
Beaufort, South Carolina on April 27, 2005 around 3 pm in the afternoon.
Several reports came in suggesting an injured turtle.
With a closer look, it was quite apparent that these loggerheads were
mating. Loggerheads mate several weeks before nesting but the whereabouts
