Roads closed on Little Pee Dee and Cartwheel Bay Heritage Preserves
Due to the recent ice storm in South Carolina, many roads are closed to vehicle traffic in Little Pee Dee Heritage Preserve in Dillon County and Cartwheel Bay Heritage Preserve in Horry County.
S.C. Department of Natural Resources (DNR) staff continues to work to clear roads blocked by numerous fallen trees. As clean up of these areas continues, the preserves will remain open to the public. Foot traffic through both preserves is welcome, but visitors are urged to use caution.
