2008 Goose Creek Fishing Rodeo

The 2008 Goose Creek youth fishing event took place Saturday, May 17th with over 450 area residents participating in the activities.

The S.C. Department of Natural Resources (DNR) along with the city of Goose Creek hosted the event at the Goose Creek Marguerite H. Brown Municipal Complex. Youth anglers were provided with bait, tackle and fish stringer that helped them catch species including channel catfish, bluegill and largemouth bass at the pond behind the municipal complex.
