St. Stephen Fish Lift
Directions to the St. Stephen Fish Lift & Hatchery
From Interstate 26:
- Take exit 199B on to Hwy 17-A
- Continue out of Summerville and into Moncks Corner
- Turn left at traffic light on to Hwy 52
- Continue on Hwy 52 approx 17 miles into St. Stephen
- Cross over Rediversion Canal Bridge. You will see a brown 'Fish Hatchery' sign
- Turn right onto Pine Tree Drive, 1st road on right, and continue 3/10 mile to Imperial Drive
- Turn right onto Imperial Drive and continue 2/10 mile onto Platt Road
- Turn left onto Platt Road
- Continue 7/10 mile to entrance for Bayless Hatchery on the right
- Turn into Bayless Hatchery, 1st building on right side of the road, and park on the right of the building
From Highway 6:
- From Hwy 6 take left on to Hwy 45 toward St. Stephen
- Turn left at traffic light on to Hwy 52
- Cross over Rediversion Canal Bridge. You will see a brown 'Fish Hatchery' sign
- Turn right onto Pine Tree Drive, 1st road on right, and continue 3/10 mile to Imperial Drive
- Turn right onto Imperial Drive and continue 2/10 mile onto Platt Road
- Turn left onto Platt Road
