The remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon produced 1-4 inches of rain across coastal South Carolina with a 6-10 inch max over northeastern Charleston County causing flooding. Strongest observed winds occurred in Charleston City with sustained winds of 25 knots and a gust to 32 knots. As the remnants of Gordon passed over Georgetown county spotter reports and radar estimates show that over 8 inches of rain. Gordon produced a tornado on Waccamaw Neck. Extensive street flooding occurred in downtown North Myrtle Beach. ($868K)
