Leatherback Nest Inventory on Folly Beach
The first leatherback inventory was conducted last night on Folly Beach after signs of emergence three days before. We have had five leatherback nests in South Carolina in 2008 which is the highest on record for a single year. The nests were laid on Kiawah, Folly, Bull, Garden City and Cape.
