January 19, 2016Palachucola Shooting Range temporary closure
Note the temporary closure will not affect the scheduled Shooting Sports Field Day on Feb. 6, 2016.
The S.C. Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Palachucola Shooting Range in Hampton County will be temporarily closed for safety reasons and maintenance. This closure is for the safety of logging crews working in proximity to the range and to permit DNR staff to perform needed maintenance and repairs to backstop berms and range facilities.
The range will be closed beginning Jan. 25, 2016 and will remain closed until Feb. 20, 2016.
