Getting Storm Details
Storms can be selected by clicking a row in the table or a track in the map, which will highlight the storm track on the map. For more detailed track and summary information about the selected storm, click the Get Storm Details button.
Filtering Storms
The Filter Storms button opens up options for filtering storms by year, storm category, and others. Applying the filters will limit the display of storms in the map and table.
Searching the Table
Storms can be searched by name, year, or any keywords found in the table. For example, typing "flood" in the search box will return all storms that have "flood" somewhere in the description. This option does not filter the map.
Table View
Storm data can be viewed in a table-only web page, along with storms prior to 1851, in the Table View. The Table View is less interactive and may be easier to navigate for some users.
