The Board of the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources held a workshop at 10:00 am, July 15, 2021 at SC DNR Marine Resources Division, Eltzroth Building Conference Room, 217 Ft. Johnson Road, Charleston, SC. Notice of the date, time and place of the workshop was posted and mailed to the news media. Members present included Chairman Norman Pulliam, Dr. Mark Hartley, Jerry Lee, Carlisle Oxner, Jake Rasor, Jr. and Duane Swygert. Mike Hutchins was absent. Director Boyles and staff members of the Department of Natural Resources were present at the workshop. Chairman Pulliam introduced guest Senator Chip Campsen, and Director Boyles introduced guest Riley Egger, SC Coastal Conservation League.
The Board previewed the “Discovery at Deveaux” film. The Board received presentations or reports on the following items: review of FY 2022 State Budget and Discussion of FY 2023 State Budget.
The next meeting will be held on August 19, 2021 in Columbia.
