South Carolina Conservation Bank Board to meet July 24 in Columbia
The South Carolina Conservation Bank Board will meet 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 24 in Room 325 (S.C. Natural Resources Board room) of the Rembert Dennis Building at 1000 Assembly St. in Columbia.
The S.C. Conservation Bank was established by the General Assembly as an ongoing funding source to acquire real estate interests from willing sellers and to encourage cooperation and innovative partnerships among landowners, state agencies, municipalities, and non-profit organizations for the continued recreational, scientific study, and aesthetic appreciation of the state’s natural resources.
Items scheduled on the agenda for the July 24 Columbia meeting include:
- New board members
- Legislative update
- Funding update and proposal
- Grant proposals: a) previously approved commitments; b) grant proposals from 2008 to present
- Board member discussion
- Executive session: personnel/legal
- Time and place of next meeting
