Director Alvin Taylor receiving Legacy Award from the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies

The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources Director Alvin Taylor was recognized for his service to the state by the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (AFWA).

Director Taylor was awarded the National Association of Conservation Law Enforcement Chiefs Legacy Award on Nov. 14 for his dedication to conservation efforts.

Director Colonel Eddie Henderson with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources presented Director Taylor with the award and said Taylor was one of the few that lead the way from colonel to director across the country and has inspired others to do the same.

Director Taylor said he was humbled and honored to receive such a prestigious award.
