SC Marine Game Fish Tagging Program
Participate
Anglers who wish to participate in the SC Marine Game Fish Tagging Program must have a South Carolina Recreational Saltwater fishing license. In addition, anglers must have a Dennison Standard Soft Grip Tagging Gun (Model D16000). These can be purchased from any number of online retailers and generally cost $20.00 - $30.00. This model is compatible with the T-bar anchor tags that we supply free of charge.
The key to success for the public tagging program is keeping the number of participants at a manageable number.This allows for a much easier means in which to communicate and provide feedback to program participants.
