Heavy rains contributed to flooding over already filled drainage basins and caused moderate to heavy flooding in the principle rivers of South Carolina. Sassafras Mt. measured 6.00 inches of rain. Caesars Head received 16.65 inches of rain during the month while Calhoun Falls received 12.64 inches. The abundant rains replenished water supply in general, including ground levels.
