Wildlife Management Area Maps
The Wildlife Management Area Maps provide location information for properties designated as WMAs located throughout the state. There are two types of properties included in the Wildlife Management program: Specific Named WMA, shown as labeled dark green tracts, and Other Unnamed WMA properties shown as unlabeled green tracts.
WMA maps consist of a total of 10 maps front and back showing WMA properties, Game Zones, WMA activities, and additional reference points like Churches and Fire Department. Some City Landmarks may not be shown because of heavy density. All maps are 1:125,000 scale (1 inch equal 2 miles), with north at the top of each page and developed using GIS software and exported as eps file and provided to the Graphics Department resulting in the final WMA maps provided. The Geospatial data used to produce the WMA maps is listed below.

Layer Source for WMA Maps
Data maintained by SCDNR that has passed the final QA/QC is available for download at no cost from DNR's GIS Data Clearinghouse, South Carolina GAP Analysis, and DNR Department & Statewide GIS Data. Refer to Available Data from DNR for availability. Data sets used from other sources will need to be obtained from the data custodian who maintains a particular data set.
